  • What is the turnaround time once you have my products? +

    Once I receive your product, it is carefully checked and you will receive confirmation before the shoot commences. The turnaround time I target for is 5 business days for the photoshoot. (You will be notified if it is expected to be longer for unforeseen reasons.)
  • I need the images Fast. Can I get rush service? +

    Contact me before you ship the product if you need to meet a specific deadline. I do offer a rush service with an additional $10 per image (48hr) turnaround time. Rush services require payment in full before the job commences.
  • I have a lot of product will you photograph them at my location? +

    I am fully equipped to photograph on location. All shoots on location do require a specific quote for each shooting session. Location shoots are quoted on a hourly rate ($300.00 per hour) and all travel time is included.
  • I have 25 products ready now, and 150 ready next month. Do I get the 100+ fee now? +

    The photo fees are based on each photoshoot. The initial shoot would be billed as 20+. All fees are based on the actual amount photographed for each shoot.
  • I have very large product can I ship it to you? +

    Large items need to be photographed at your location. My studio is set up and specialized in small product photography. I can manage any product that would approximately fit into a 2 x 2 x 2 ft space. (each item)
  • My product needs multiple angles, sides captured. Are the fees based on a per product or image? +

    The photo fees are per image. If you had 10 products each requiring a front and back capture it would be billed as 20 photos.
  • How are the products returned to me? +

    All products shipped to the studio are returned at your expense. If you need the products returned please enclose a return shipping label and pre arranged shipping with your courier of choice. I can return your product via Fed-Ex, UPS, and Purolator if your account number is provided. If you need the product disposed of rather than returned I will be happy to take care of disposal.
  • What payment options do you accept? +

    I can accept Visa and Mastercard through Paypal. All photoshoots $300.00 and under must be paid in full before the job starts.
    Photoshoots over $300.00 require a 50% payment at the start with the balance due at completion.
    You can also make your payment by cheque made payable to FBM Photography . When paying by cheque 50% is due at the job start and the balance upon completion.
  • Do I own the copyright to the photographs? +

    When your job is complete and paid in full you will receive a Royalty-free, or RF license for your images.
    The copyright remains to FBM Photography / Ferdinand Mels.
    The license will allow you to use the photographs without the need to pay royalties or license fees for each use or per time period of use. The license allows you to use the image/s anywhere in the world.
    Non-transferable - This means the license is valid for the purchaser only. You cannot transfer the royalty free license to anyone else via resale, gifting, etc.
  • Can I have a product re-shot? +

    It is very important to me that you are happy with your photos. If I have made a mistake I will gladly re-shoot the product or correct / alter the images at no charge.
    Re-shoots for artistic or editorial reasons, or resulting from client error or omission can be re-shot at a 25% discount. Re-shoots must be scheduled and completed within 2 weeks from initial session.
